Live Wallpapersby Mitesh Sheta

Celebrate the festival of lights all year round, with a wallpaper made of light itself.

• Fireworks. Rockets rise up the screen and burst into six kinds of shell — peonies, chrysanthemums, golden willows, double rings, crackles and double shells. Tap to launch your own, or tap with two fingers for a finale.
• Diya. A sparkling lamp burns while a golden clock counts down to Diwali. The dates are built in for the next ten years, so it needs no internet.
• Divine blessings. Ganesh, Goddess Lakshmi, or Shri Ram with Sita and Lakshman, on a spinning rangoli of light. Lakshmi pours gold coins from her kalash.
• Make it yours. Twelve colour themes, your own photo in the deity’s place, and your own festival name, date and greeting to count down to.

Darshan on your home screen, in golden light.

• Twenty deities. Ganesha, Ram, Radha Krishna, Vishnu, Anant Shayan, Hanuman, Shiva, Kali, Saraswati, Durga, the Shivling and the Virat Swaroop — and your kuldevi: Brahmani, Khodiyar, Bahuchar, Umiya, Meldi and Ambe Ma, with Shree Swaminarayan and Nilkanth Varni alongside.
• The glitter mantra wall. Each deity’s own mantra drifts across the background in lines of gold, every line flowing against the last. Edit any of them to your family’s tradition, in any language.
• Four scenes. Color glow, a falling Glitter curtain with rings of light underfoot, an Aura of ribbons and slow vortices, and Clean Aura — nine curtains of chakra light with lens flares burning through them.
• Deity of the day. Follow the week by tradition — Monday Shiva, Tuesday Hanuman, Wednesday Ganesha — or let it rotate through only the gods you choose.
